21 BEST THINGS to do INSIDE HOME during these 21 ‘BEST’ DAYS of LIFE

Now, as we all are staying ALERT at our homes and will be locked inside for next 21 days to defeat the deadly COVID-19, making good use of this plenty of time will be a wise decision.
While many of us might be wondering how to pass this plenty of time (21 ‘Sundays’ in one shot) in useful manner; here is my list of 21 BEST THINGS to do INSIDE HOME during these 21 ‘BEST’ DAYS OF LIFE:
1.       Role Swapping
Let’s do role reversal for few days between spouses. For ex. For the next few days, the male members of the family will make morning tea. (Try variety of teas making ideas, just google.) If want to go one step forward, the ‘gentlemen’ can try their gentle hands at making variety of breakfasts.  Specially those ‘महा’StreetFoodLover‘पुरुष’ who are badly missing their regular ‘OTT’ (Over The ‘Thela’) snacks, they must try making some of their loved snacks at home with help of YOUtube and YOUrWife.
2.       Help in Household chores by males
Definitely..And now there is one more reason which is absence of housemaids’ help. The hard working husbands should show their ‘hard work’ in doing some of daily household chores viz brooming, washing utensils, hanging & un-hanging clothes; cutting vegetables, watering plants etc.
3.       Re-connect to old pals/relatives
If you have not connected to your old pals/relatives/close persons since long time, then this is the very right time to re-connect with them over phone call/video call/chats. Remember the old times-refresh the old experiences.
4.       Household/Personal pending work
We all must have some pending household/personal works which we kept on deferring from Sunday to Sunday since last few months like organising clothes cabinets/almirahs, organising bookshelves, taking out old items/clothes which are not being used now but stuffed inside beds/almirahs, organising personal papers/files etc.
5.       Business/Professional pending work
Similarly, we might have various business/professional related pending list viz organizing/filing various financial papers & important loose papers/documents; organizing email box & soft data (folders/files) in laptop; backup of important data if not done recently.
6.       Read Books-E-Books/Listen Audio Books/ Read Online Articles
If there are books laying in the bookshelves and waiting for you but due to lack of sufficient ‘me’ time, you couldn’t start reading (or left unfinished), then this is the golden chance to resume ‘date’ with the waiting books.
If you don’t have any books right now, then too it is Best time for starting the journey of Best Investment i.e. in yourself by reading online/e-books/pdf copy available on net.
My recommendations:

7.       Revisit Old Personal/Family Memories
In this free time, one can visit old photo albums/old compiled personal videos/watch marriage videos and other old personal/family things which will refresh one’s old memories.
8.       Start/Expand Writing
This is also the best time to start your journey with words. Just download the best writing app YourQuote and start sharing your thoughts/shayaries/poems/short stories/life experiences/any other creative piece of writing with the world. You can even also publish your book (QuoteBook) through this app. You can also start your personal blog through blogger.com (Free Product by Google).

13.   Spend ‘Quality wala’ Quantity time with Spouse
Even if a husband is not interested in spending so much time, he will have to as no other option left. J
14.   Life Learnings’-Life Experience Sharing Sessions by Elders with Younger ones
Family which are lucky to have elders should have such sessions to guide/mentor the younger generations with valuable insights from life of elder generations.
15.   Character ‘Renovation’
After organising one’s personal and professional data, now it is time to organise the ‘data’ of world’s biggest super computer i.e. Mind. In this plenty of free time, one can allot few hours per day to work upon to regulate, simplify and master thoughts and feelings of Mind so that it functions in the best possible manner.
During this time, one can develop new habits as any new habit takes 21 continuous days as per research studies. If one sticks to any good habit for 21 days, then it will be easier for him/her to continue the habit with lesser amount of efforts in future.
If one has tag of ‘Impatient’; ‘Short tempered’; ‘Procrastinator’; ‘Stress lover’; or any such other tag, then it is the best time to start journey of self-renovation/’new avatar’ by learning relevant knowledge available online and implementing the same in one’s day to day life.
Persons, who remember their ‘mother’ and ‘sister’ too much in their every 3-4 sentences, too can improve a lot in this aspect. Just google ‘how to stop using bad words’/’how to stop saying curse words’.
16.   Learn any new skill (for personal use)
One can use this free time in learning new skill. For ex. Improving Oral/Written Communication; Meditation; Yoga-Pranayam; NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), How to use power of the biggest asset everyone has i.e. sub-conscious mind. There are many books/videos/blogs and free/paid courses are available online on these subjects/skills.
17.   Learn any new skill (for professional use)
Similarly, if one is interested in learning leadership/professional/management related  course, there are many free and paid courses from industry experts are available at portals such as https://www.udemy.com/; https://unacademy.com/.

India Fights Against Corona Virus (COVID-19)

अब जबकि सम्पूर्ण भारत को Lockdown कर दिया गया हैं तो भी Corona Virus के हम सबके घर में घुसने के 3 रास्ते अब भी बचे हैं [UP वालों के लिए केवल 2 रास्ते (2 & 3) as UP Govt. to deliver all essential goods to UP residents at their doors]-

(These 3 ways are on assumption that all persons who are out there, being related to essential goods & services exempt from lockdown, take care of themselves and don't carry risk of virus infection to their homes/neighbourhood).

ये 3 रास्ते हैं- Man, Material and Money (in short, 3M)

1. MAN (Family member going outside home)
जब भी हमारे परिवार से एक सदस्य बाहर जाएगा essential goods/services के लिए (Grocery, Milk, Fruits-Vegetables, Medicines, ATM etc), तो उस सदस्य के through [bcoz do you think that group of peoples at Grocery/Vegetable/Medical shops will maintain Social Distance (Min 3 feet as per WHO)] ???

2. MATERIAL (Items coming inside home) Essential Items/उनके पैकेट्स के through

3. MONEY
Purchasing के दौरान change के रूप में प्राप्त हुई currency notes/coins के through.

So, what is the solution ? How we can make 21 days' Lockdown successful?

Simple.. BE ALERT & SANITIZE...

1. All shopping by one fix member only and before bath where possible.
As advised by health experts, the family member should bathe/proper hand-face wash and change his clothes immediately after returning home.

2. Thoroughly wash the essential items/sanitize packets where possible/throw the packets into covered dustbin and hand wash/sanitize after handling/emptying/throwing the packets and after thorough washing the items.

3. Try to take change and use digital payment modes where possible.
Keep all such exchanged notes & currency in separate box (name it 'Unsanitized Currency Box'). Sanitize the notes by keeping them under proper Sunlight for 5-6 hours (where Sunlight not available, can iron by keeping currency notes inside cloth piece).

Remember, 'Stay at Home' is not the Correct 'Medicine' to defeat COVID-19 but 'STAY ALERT AT HOME' is...

So, Let's Stay Alert At Home for next 21 days and help India to contain Corona Virus successfully with the blessings of Maa Durga.

This is the real "Social Distancing"-the only weapon to defeat COVID-19...

Want to play your part in poverty reduction in India?-Part 3/4

...contd...

So, the organization, whose idea was sown in 2006, was finally launched in 2008 with the backing of ICICI Foundation and the mission to make credit affordable and accessible to millions of excluded individuals (mostly poor and low income house holds).
This organization leveraged the power of Internet and technology and provided online platform for source funding/peer to peer funding.
Later, one co-founder was elected to the Ashoka Fellowship in 2012 in recognition of the organization's game-changing efforts to lower the cost of credit and the organization got funding support from Tata Trusts in 2015.

In 2017, RBI started regulating peer to peer lending sector. So, this organization which was earlier operating as Public Charitable Trust till 2017 had to set up as Pvt. Ltd. Co. and got NBFC P2P license from RBI in 2019. So, as on date, this organization is RBI regulated and became such first organization in India. Until 2017, this organization had 15000 Social Investors and 65000 needy Indians were funded Rs. 76 Crores.

And Since Sept 2019 when it went live again (after P2P NBFC license), it has raised and disbursed Rs. 1.5 Crores (Edit: Rs. 65.56 Crores as on 02.11.23) to needy Indians to start/expand their micro enterprises. I myself have been Social Investor through this innovative platform since 2012 and witnessed few of borrowers' economic growth journey through field visits/personal meeting which this organization provides to their Investors. The name of this innovative and impact making portal/organization which is uplifting lives of thousands of poor and low income Indian households is...

Want to play your part in poverty reduction in India?-Part 2/4

...contd...

As we all know that two Biggest tools to fight against poverty is 1) Education and 2) Entrepreneurship.

Here Education is the preventive tool i.e. helps a person not to fall in poverty. So, only solution (remedial tool) to eliminate existing poverty (of uneducated poors) is Entrepreneurship which helps person to rise from poverty.

Various economic research studies done in a number of developing countries over past few decades confirm that poverty can be eliminated through fostering entrepreneurship.

But, low cost funding is the biggest problem for poor who want to start their small/micro enterprises as Banks hesitate to lend to the poor fearing default and lack of verifiable credit history and moneylenders charge extortionate interest rates.

The solution is Micro Credit. Mr. Muhammad Yunus who was rated as No.2 in the 'Top 100 Global Thinkers' list and Nobel Peace Awardee pioneered the concept of microcredit. He and his 'Grameen Bank' have shown that even the poorest of the poor can work to bring about their own development.

This solution Micro Credit becomes more effective when channeled through Peer-to- Peer (P2P) lending mechanism as cost of micro loans gets cheaper and more affordable by poor and low income households.

Fortunately, there is an organization in India whose idea was sown in the same year 2006 when Professor Muhammad Yunus and the Grameen Bank were jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize "for their efforts to create economic and social development from below".
