“FIRST TIME IN LIFE” eXpErIeNcEs provided by Year 2018

Dear Readers,
First of all, wish you a very Happy, Full of Events & Surprises and Wonderful New Year 2019!!
As they say, Life must be eventful..because Monotony = Dead and Surprises/Events = Life
So, like every year, this year also I had many varieties of experiences (Happy-Sad-Painful-Scary-Deadly-Thrilling-Embarrassing etc), but some experiences happened for the very first time in life.

Few of them are as below:
1)      Wept in public
Never imagined in my dreams that this will happen and introvert person like me will show such emotions in public. Ya, I literally wept in front of public (min 50+ strangers) & few relatives. This real life drama went for 30-45 seconds J ) If you know reason, you will call me soft hearted and that I am and proud of this fact.  Actually, emotions should flow naturally, one should not stop them on account of being man or introvert person. As per medical research (read somewhere on net), the biggest reason why more men suffer from heart attack than women is: Men try to control showing their emotional pain and don’t want to shed tears when required. So, what I did was good in the sense that I decreased my chances of heart attack :)

2)      Pulled Train Chain
Travelling in trains since last 17-18 years but never thought that one day I would pull the chain to stop train. Pulled chain as situations forced and thus also appeared for the first time in life in front of Police (Railway Police). Good thing was that I escaped from fine & penalty after providing written apology cum explanation letter, may be the Inspector found me genuine guyJ..No bribes. Also learned that in some part of India, rules are followed strictly by honest govt officers.

3)      Painful Experience
Oh God..I never thought that such type of surgery also happens in medical science. Due to heredity and other medical circumstances, I had to undergo 1st phase of Oral Surgery (gums). Total 12 no. of injections (inside mouth) I took to make that area numb. During my 32-33 years of life till date, I remember I had never taken so many injections (other than blood test) in total. And for this, I am very grateful to God.

4)      Scary feeling
When you (as father) are alone along with your 6-year & 6-month daughters in midnight that on the roads of strange city and you are also without your mobile, you can imagine the feeling and how fast our mind starts thinking in such situations.  Thankfully, had cash in wallet, understood importance of having min amt of cash every time with you despite of Paytm/ATM card/Credit card. Also learnt that not all people help but some people genuinely help if you look genuine and you have to use your gut feeling before trusting any stranger providing helping hand. Thanks to God that this real life scary ‘drama’ finished in 2 hours without any real troubles.

5)      Sat next to dead body first time in life (as I couldn’t attend my maternal & paternal grandfather’s last rites) and that too for continuous 5+ hrs. Observed who is crying from heart and who is doing just for show off. Yes, some people do showoff in such situations also.

6)      Deadly experience
Narrow escaped (just by 2-3 inches) from being hit by Big Bull’s horn while we (I amd my life partner) were waiting(standing) in huge crowd outside a famous temple at 6 in the morning. When this happened, I was alert and saw the speeding bull coming and pushed my wife into safe side crowd to save her.
Before this incident, we had one more experience. One rainy day while it was raining heavily, I and my wife went some area where water was logged and road was not even. While returning, I had to reverse my car but it was not getting reversed. (Actually I had not much practiced such force reverse). I asked my wife to get down and tried reverse but my car came very close to Wire Pole and naked cables. Thankfully one kind person helped me in getting my car reversed.

7)      “Heart in the mouth” experience when India wins against Bangladesh in Nidahas Trophy 2018 Final Match.
I am sure cricket lovers still remember this match and will remember for the years to come. What a heart failing match it was and few days after this match, one more thrilling match was won by India against this same Asian counterpart.

8)      Spent whole night at Railway Station as waited for more than 6 hrs for a delaying train which was increasing its delay hours at every hour. In such situations where you have no control, I observed that it is your perception to looking situations makes you feel happy or sad. I noticed that some passengers were relaxing while some other were so furious-tensed-had mood off type feelings. What I did-I enjoyed reading a book besides spending some time in quality chatting with my better half.

9)      Lucky Experience (God favours the brave)
Went for outstation trip in peak tourism season without any prior train bookings and hotel booking. Actually booked hotels but their unethical business behaviour at the crucial time, I had to search for hotels again. By grace of God, didn’t struggle much. While in train, TTE never took pain to ask me ticket even though he did 5-6 rounds. May be due to showing confidence in your eyes/body language and genuine look on your face works most of times J

10)   Last but not the least...and most beautiful experience for this write-up
The FIRST look of my SECOND daughter...at hospital when brought out by child doctor. This is one of those feelings which can’t be expressed in words. Really, if there is God on this earth, then the little bundle of Joy are baby versions of God.

Life is all about having experiences whatever type they are. We have to embrace them as they come. Some experiences may be out of our comfort zone. But this is life. We have to get out of our zone either by choice or when forced upon by life.

Every event/experience whether bad or good actually makes life interesting, full of wonder and liveable. Actually there is no such thing as bad experience, Every experience even they seems bad at first will have good impact on our future life. So every event/experience is good if we look the experience in deep.

Your life will be monotonous as if you are eating dal-chalwal daily?? Right? Don’t you want to try most of items of menu of famous restaurant?? Some items may be Sweet, some Namkeen, some very Spicy, some may be Mouth watering, some are like Happy by just seeing...some awful etc..
Similarly, some experiences may be joyful, some may be full of sorrow, embarrassing, awkward, laughing till stomach hurts experience, painful, deadly, thrilling, scary...as if you are enjoying all menu items of a good restaurant (owned by God J)

SO, What we can do when life (God) throws us so much varied experiences ..What is in our hands is BE FULLY PRESENT in the moment, ENJOY the experience, OBSERVE and LEARN from the experience...that’s it..Embrace with GRACE..That’s life...You CAN’T enjoy life in truest sense sitting in your comfort zone.

Clearly most of experiences happen only when we get out of out of comfort zone, think out of box, take unconventional path, ready to accept & face unknown risk.
So, Have variety of experiences and enjoy LIFE to the fullest.

ENJOY Life’s Experiences!
Enjoy NOW!!
