आइए, गणेशजी का आर्शीवाद लें...(LEARNINGS FROM LORD GANESHA)
Lord
Ganesha is Lord of Knowledge & Wisdom. Even the elements of Ganeshji’s body
has its own significance.. Every body part of Ganeshji teaches us something.

Ganesha’s
Head
Big Head to think big. Lord Ganesha is worshiped as the god of wisdom. His
elephant head indicates intelligence and distinct power.
Ganesha’s
Ears
Big ears to listen more. Ganesha’s wide ears denote ability to listen people
who seek help. Ears are used to gain knowledge. They signify the importance of
listening in order to absorb ideas.
Ganesha’s
Eyes
Small eyes to concentrate efficiently. Ganesha’s eyes teach us to concentrate
mind. A Person, who has controlled his mind, can achieve any success in his
life.
Ganesha’s
Urdha Mark
Ganesha’s Urdha mark is the aura which teaches
us to master the time. On the
forehead, the Trishul (weapon of Shiva, similar to Trident) is depicted,
symbolising time (past, present and future) and Ganesha’s mastery over it.
Hence the mark shows the active energy.
Ganesha’s
Mouth
Small mouth to talk less. Ganesha’s mouth teaches us to believe in doing instead
of talking. Value your words. Listen, think, do and then talk.
Ganesha’s
Single Tusk
The single tusk (the other being broken off)
indicates Ganesha’s ability to overcome all forms of dualism. The broken tusk
teaches us to analyze the experience in
life. Retain the good and throw the bad. Introspect. Keep good thoughts,
good habits and throw evil thoughts, bad habits.
Ganesha’s
Belly
Digest all good
and bad in life.
Attain the virtue of calmness. Ganesha’s belly contains infinite universes. It
signifies the ability of Ganesha to swallow the sorrows of the universe and
protect the world.
Ganesha’s
Legs
Social and spiritual both phases are important
in life. The position of his legs (one resting on the ground and one raised)
indicate the way of living. It’s important to live in social as well as in the
spiritual world.
Ganesha’s
Arms
The four arms of Ganesha represent the four
inner attributes of the subtle body, that is: Manas(Mind), Buddhi (Intellect), Ahamkara (Ego), and Chitta (conditioned conscience).
First
Hand
Cut-off the bonds of attachments. The hand
waving an axe, is a symbol of the detachment of all desires, bearers of pain
and suffering. With this axe Ganesha can both strike and repel obstacles.
Second
Hand
The second hand holds a rope and a lotus
flower. Lotus flower (padma) symbolizes the highest goal of human evolution.
Rope is to pull the devotee to the highest goal.
Third
Hand
The third hand, turned towards the devotee, is
in a pose of blessing. Ganesha offers protection and guidance to the spiritual
seeker.
Fourth
Hand
The fourth hand holds a whisk of modaka (sweet), and it symbolizes the sweetness of
the realised inner self. It denotes the reward of the sadhana (devotion).
This
Ganpati Mahotsav..Let’s implement Lord Ganesha’s Teachings into our life and Be
Blessed in Real terms..
