Dear Fellow Indians,
A Very Happy Independence Day to all of you…
Today we are celebrating our 69th
Independence Day.
On this occasion, I wish to share something involving India in this 4-Part Series. Below is the 1st Part, other 3 parts will be online in a month period.
Although there is no doubt that Everyone of us is serving our
mother country in the best possible manner:
(i) By taking care of one’s health
and character and
(ii) By performing one’s duty
in best possible manner as per one’s occupation
By Occupation, I mean to refer any Activity/Business/Profession, One
does to earn a living and/or to pass one’s time.
If you are a student, your duty is to study, to ask questions, to
understand concepts (not just Ratta
Maar-Exam Paar), to help fellow students, to pass examination without any
unfair means etc
If you are a Teacher, your duty is to teach, to satisfy students’
curiosity, to work extra for weaker students, to be a life time student, etc
If you are a housewife (homemaker), your duty is to take care of
diet/health of family members including yours’, to keep home clean, to manage
various home chores efficiently etc
If you are a professional, your duty is to act diligently, to follow
code of ethics of one’s professional body/institution, to get oneself updated
with the changes in one’s profession field etc
If you are an Industrialist, your duty is to earn justifiable
profits which are not at cost of villagers’ life/property, not at cost of
surrounding environment, to work under the laws not above the laws, to take
care of industry workers’ safety & livelihood etc
If you are Public Representative, your duty is take care of public
issues/problems as per priority without any discrimination on basis of
caste/religion, to be available in hour of need, to raise voice of public in
front of appropriate authority, no misuse of public money etc
If you are Retired Person, your duty is to enjoy the remaining life gracefully
& peacefully, to share your life experiences with youth, to spend time with
children (not just grand children), to help in domestic/home chores if you are
living with Son & his wife etc
and so on…
However, we can do more/contribute to our country in more little
& big ways. So, today on the occasion of 69th Independence Day
of India, I wish to share with you 69 WAYS which are so SIMPLE that don’t need
our extra time/money/energy and yet so POWERFUL that leaves big impact for
benefit of Indian citizens and our country as a whole.
Every step which is listed
below focuses on India’s Natural Environment/Social-Biological Environment/Natural
Resources Preservation/Nourishment of Poor Indians/Health-Employment-Education
of Country Citizens/Promotion of Economy-Rural & Urban/Increase People’s
Productivity-Faith & Harmony amongst Indians etc…ultimately leading to
overall benefit of Indians & development of India
These steps may look
like very small step….but as rightly said by our beloved PM Mr Modi that if 1
Indian takes 1 step the whole India takes 1 Billion Steps
For ex. See the Point
No 1 below. If 1 Indian applies this, s/he can save 3 to 5 A4 Size Papers every
month. And if this is followed by 1 Billion Indians, 36 to 60 Billion Paper
sheets can be saved every year.
Ok..take just 10% of
this..then also it is a huge impact (i.e. 3.60 to 6 Billion Paper sheets every
year)
Lastly, I must say that you must be already doing some of steps
mentioned below. In this case, if you like and agree to some new idea(s),
please adopt that one and if you have some other ideas or practicing on regular basis,
do share. I would like to share in other 3 Parts of this post
In no particular order, here are the 69 little-big-usual-unusual

provider’s website)
No more ATM Slips/Physical Bills/Statements
2) Assist/Encourage for Opening of Bank
A/c of your Security Guard/Office Boys/House Help/Office Sweeper etc. I
